Self-advocacy is often a difficult subject to broach; whether a seasoned professional or fresh out of college, knowing how and when to speak up and advocate for your own skills and personal growth is often fraught with second-guessing and vulnerability. In this session we will be exploring how to define self-advocacy, practical ways of improving the ability to communicate valued skills and strengths, and the importance of merging your strengths with your organization’s needs.
